The development of the Qatari workforce, through education and training, is a primary national objective designed to enhance the development of the State of Qatar. QatarEnergy LNG' national development, and recruitment aim to deliver on the country's strategy toward achieving 50% of Qatarization through development programmes and placement of talented nationals in the workforce.​

THE RECRUITMENT TEAM​​​

QatarEnergy LNG' recruitment team consists of a dedicated staff in support of the Qatarization vision. One of our core missions is to recruit highly qualified and committed nationals who are ready to achieve their personal objectives and contribute to the overall success of QatarEnergy LNG. 

We do this by participating in various national and international events such as the annual Qatar Career Fair, university career fairs, sponsorship events, and overseas campaigns.​​ ​The recruitment division has maintained strong partnerships with universities and high schools to facilitate the process of sourcing national talent. We assist our potential national employees throughout the completion of the recruitment formalities and induction programme in a timely and supportive manner. We are also committed to provide prompt responses to queries about career opportunities at QatarEnergy LNG at any time.​

QATARIZATION DIVISION​​

The Qatarization team is responsible for the management of the talent pipeline for nationals in line with the QatarEnergy LNG Qatarization strategy. We work with line departments to develop the Individual Development Plans (IDPs) of our Qatari candidates to help build their competence while monitoring progression through their development towards their confirmation into established positions.

The Learning and Development Department's Qatarization Division host an annual“CEO Forum" for national graduates and trainees which focuses on the development of QatarEnergy LNG' Qatari national employees, and their contribution towards achieving the Company's vision. The event is one of a number of platforms that provide the opportunity for Qatari national graduates and trainees to address and participate in constructive dialogue with QatarEnergy LNG' management.

On an annual basis, the QatarEnergy LNG Chief Executive Officer recognises those national graduates, trainees, coaches and scholarship students with the best performance and achievements.

The CEO Forum at QatarEnergy LNG represents a fine example of the commitment made by the company's senior management to its national workforce and it helps forge a strong relationship between the young professionals and their coaches.​
