Job Purpose

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

  • Coordination within the Cost and Contracts team is required to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Coordinate with the Cost and Contracts Leads to ensure smooth functioning and effective implementation of key tasks and oversee the cost estimation activities to ensure efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Assist with developing strategies for key contracts including negotiation strategies to ensure that fair prices are obtained and cost effectiveness is maintained.
  • Review demand plans prepared by various departments to ensure they are compiled and submitted as per the timelines agreed with Supply department.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the Supply department to ensure clear lines of communication are maintained.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure invoices are cleared on time and coordinate and support the OPCO Budget and Reporting team to ensure that all deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Coordinate all internal and external audits for the section and finalize and maintain updated status of the section KPIs.
  • Maintain an updated action tracking register and review monthly reports to identify and implement necessary actions in coordination with the Head of Contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 8 years’ experience in a cost and contracts management environment within the oil and gas industry
