Job Purpose

  • Coordinate, collaborate, facilitate, and support the management and governance of processes, programs, and systems related to Operations groups’ performance reporting, structured continuous improvement, business benchmarking, data governance and analytics, and special studies in accordance with the approved priorities and mandates of the Group Planning & Excellence team.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Coordinate and facilitate data collection, validation, consolidation, and reporting to support the management and governance of Operations Groups’ strategic planning and KPI reporting processes and programs. Analyse performance indicators to identify potential gaps and improvement opportunities for management oversight. Coordinate and steward section objectives, relevant milestones and KPIs.

  • Coordinate and facilitate data inputs for internal and external operations benchmarking programs (Offshore, LNG, Refinery, and Marine Terminal). Liaise with Corporate Planning, Operations, and Functional focal points to ensure timely and high-quality submissions. Prepare and support management approvals, conduct report reviews, and organize gap-to-potential workshops to identify areas for improvement. Support the development and updating of relevant processes, procedures, guidelines, and systems.

  • Support the development, implementation, roll-out, and governance of Operations Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, programs, and tools. Coordinate the development of relevant procedures and provide guidance and facilitation support to the broader organization on understanding and implementing CI practices and tools.

  • Develop, enhance, and govern mandated data management processes, programs, and tools. Establish and maintain a master database of related information in a structured and systematic manner. Conduct related analysis and comparative validations of data sets using known statistical methods, report analysis results, and coordinate follow-up actions.

  • Lead the development and governance of Operations Support Department EPO deliverables for new projects in compliance with HIP requirements. Establish the methodology and support the stewardship of deliverables until completion. Provide expert support to focal points within Operations Support and the broader Operations Group in data management and EPO governance as needed.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Prepare and facilitate Operations Group Shareholders Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs), steward actions. Develop review packs, conduct dry runs in preparation for QPRs, and consolidate and publish review packs.

  • Participate in developing Operations dashboards and the Insight Analytical Tool (Ops 360) to drive efficiencies, establish and govern system processes, conduct periodic health checks, develop, and maintain the Operations Audit Dashboard, prepare, and share audit reports, and liaise with the Internal Audit team to ensure data quality and provide support for queries.

  •  Coordinate and support the management of the Operations Excellence Awards Program. Facilitate inputs, reviews, and approvals of nominations. Plan and organize the awards ceremony. Conduct feedback sessions and enhance the process to maximize value.

  • Support the Operations group focal point in engaging Operations leadership in the development and updates of QLMS L3 processes and their periodic assessments (BPA) as per the approved plan.

  • Coordinate and support the development, implementation, governance, and enhancement of the Operations Support Business Continuity Plan as per the defined process. Support special studies for specific programs or general business process enhancement practices as mandated by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 8 years’ experience in oil & gas organisations within operations, maintenance, or engineering functions.

  • Lean 6 Sigma certification with experience on implementation of CI projects.

  • Experience in the development of strategic planning and KPI management processes. Corporate balanced scorecard certificate.

  • Experience in business analysis / business process management.

  • Experience implementing data management programs and strategies.

  • Experience in audit and assessment processes.
